Tumko Dekha Toh-season 2 Update 1

Hi all,

Tumko dekha toh has been a very emotional and personal journey for me. A journey where I met my daughter Lesha… Like everybody else, I was floored by her flow of thoughts, the inner peace that her words gave me.. then somewhere this beautiful journey began. She gave me her story to continue writing it my way..not everyone does that- part with something so precious- but she did..because she is precious.

Tumko dekha toh season 2 is a journey  I dedicate to this lovely daughter of mine- Lesha, my kondhai.
This is also dedicated to a very close friend and confidante who is no longer with me but continues to inspire me.
I hope you enjoy this journey with me. Your comments and criticisms are most welcome.

Love

Saras

Tumko Dekha Toh- Season 2 Update 1

A Brief Introduction:

This is a sort of a sequel to the original story- It is a unique journey of two people Ram and Priya. There are a few changes in the characterisations and I am sure with time you will be able to accept them! The scenario is a different one- in the sense, it is a lot like the original phir bhee hatke hai. I hope you all like it.

                                                 Chapter 1

Ram’s head ached..his heart felt heavy. Why did he feel she would come back to him? He opened his eyes and saw the beauty of his surroundings- he could feel the smell of wet earth, the lush green grass in the lawns beckoned him. He smiled and got up. He walked through the elegant patio and took off his shoes and socks and walked on the grass. He enjoyed it..his feet tingled at the feel of the freshly cut blades of grass. He walked silently enjoying every breath he took, the fragrance of the roses in his gardens took away his head ache. His outstretched arms touched the dew drops that had settled on the flowers..every breath he took, every thing he did- it reminded him of her- what she would do-how she liked to live life. He was, in a way becoming like her and he liked it.
He continued walking across the lawn deep in thought. Ram’s house-keeper came with his chai and the day’s papers. Ram thanked him warmly and sat down on a beautiful swing overlooking the gardens with his favourite cup of adrak wali chai. He was at peace with himself and the world. He was this 40 year old business tycoon who dealt in crores, but his needs were very limited. Yes, he had an opulent house, big cars and designer clothes. But in all that, Ram was a very content man. He did not crave riches, money. He had no attachments to those cars- he was still happy to travel in his old car! His family enjoyed luxuries of life. Not that he minded. He lived for his family. And he lived for her- Priya.
